During the EY Golden Calves Gala at the Stadsschouwburg Utrecht, Ahlaam Teghadouini won a Gouden Kalf in the category ‘Best Leading Role in a Drama Series’. She received the award for her role as Sihame in the revenge series Sihame 2. The other nominees were Khalid Alterch (Nordin) and Eva Crutzen (Bodem 2).
After a thrilling first season, the revenge series Sihame, produced by Fiction Valley in co-production with KRO-NCRV, returns in October with its second season. Sihame shows the thin line between revenge and remorse, justice and shame, protection and loss. The series tackles current themes such as online exposing, victim blaming, reputational damage, and sexual exploitation. Every choice puts Sihame's moral compass on edge, leading to explosive tension, confrontational dilemmas, and the central question: how far will you go to protect your loved ones?
Sihame will be available to stream in its entirety on KRO-NCRV on NPO Start from Thursday, October 16.
