Netflix has released the trailer for The Dinner Club (De Eetclub), Fiction Valley’s new seven-part series. Based on Saskia Noort’s bestselling novel of the same name, the gripping thriller is packed with secrets, lies and intrigue and will be available worldwide on Netflix from 10 September.
In The Dinner Club, Karen and her family move to Bergen, where they are warmly welcomed into an alluring group of friends who fully embrace an extravagant and uninhibited lifestyle.
But when one of their luxurious villas goes up in flames and their friend Evert dies in the fire, everything changes. His wife and children barely escape with their lives. Karen soon discovers that the group’s seemingly close friendship is built on a web of lies. Everyone has something to hide. Nothing is what it seems. Karen sets out to uncover the truth – but at what cost?
The series features a strong ensemble cast including Loes Haverkort, Rifka Lodeizen, Charlie-Chan Dagelet, Noortje Herlaar, Teun Luijkx, Remko Vrijdag, Matthijs van de Sande Bakhuyzen and Edwin Jonker.
All seven episodes of The Dinner Club will be available worldwide on Netflix from 10 September.
