Prime Video has revealed the cast of comedy series Nordin, Achmed Akkabi's first production for the streaming service. In addition to being the Executive Producer, Achmed stars in the series as Choukri, Nordin’s older brother. Nordin also stars Khalid Alterch, Georgina Verbaan, Zineb Fallouk, Ferdi Stofmeel, Hamza Benmira, Khalid Akouzdame and Géza Weisz. The comedy series with a twist, centers around Nordin Kynani, a rich thirty-year-old who expects to be made CEO of the successful family business with no skills or training. But instead, his mother humbles him with a very different assignment: teach for a year at the struggling primary school he once attended. Nordin will premiere exclusively on Prime Video in 2025 in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide. Nordin Kynani loves flashy cars, wild parties, and living with his buddies, but he has always expected that on his upcoming birthday he’ll take over his wealthy Moroccan-Dutch family’s business. When he goes to their office to be named CEO, his mother shocks him with a condition: he must first work as a teacher at his old primary school for a year. At the run-down school, Nordin tries to inspire and motivate his students, despite the low expectations and prejudices of the school management, particularly strict principal Vera and her lapdog Master Henk. Nordin does everything he can to address this injustice and give his students the opportunities they deserve, but his unconventional teaching methods get him in hot water. At the same time, Nordin struggles with his responsibilities to his family and friends. His mother Rabia wants to retire, his sister Hayat is on her way to becoming a prominent political figure, and his friends Souf and Amine struggle to adjust to his new, more serious path in life.
